Flames of Salvation is an active horde-side "casual-core" raiding guild founded in 2007. We're a friendly group of players with a laid-back attitude, but we know how to focus and work hard when it's time to raid.
We're largely on a raiding hiatus as we prepare for Cataclysm. We have one group progressing through ICC hard modes, but the rest of the guild is busy levelling alts, collecting badges, and preparing for the adventures ahead!
Come launch day, we will return to our status as a semi-hardcore 10-man raiding guild. We plan to have several raid groups, comprised of both mains and alts, running two nights per week each, and expect to be server-competitive in terms of progression.

We've decided to move the guild website to a new home. Visit http://flamesofsalvation.guildlaunch.com to see our new setup!

At this time, Flames of Salvation's raid schedule has slowed immensely. We have one ten-man group, Pigtail Squad, that continues to progress through ICC heroic modes, but we are no longer running 25-man content. At this point, we are biding our time until Cataclysm, at which point we will become an exclusively 10-man raid guild. We're lucky to have many of our great members around to level alts, run old content, and generally have a good time, but the majority of the guild will no longer be doing progression until November (hopefully) and the release of the next expansion.

We were a few guildies short for ICC tonight, so we decided to PvP it up and raid some capital cities. Congrats to Flames members (and friends!) on their shiny new bears!

Taku wanted a toy train. Pamah wanted a stuffed bear (weird). Trotline muttered something about a red action b-gun or something. -
The picture says it all. Grats to all those who attended to help get the kill on Festergut25.

Thanks to Braundo for the picture. =) -
Glory of the Ulduar Raider (10man) has been cleared by team Taco Wagon. The last acheivement was Yogg+1 but with the new raids coming out before we got a chance to finish and the holidays cutting back time for our optional raids, we were forced to put it off for a while. We finally beat him though and without the help of too many extra keepers.

Addendum: 12/18/09 - ToGC was cleared with all 50 attempts remaining

Group 1 killed heroic Anub'arak on heroic difficulty with over 25 attempts remaining thus getting the Trial of the Grand Crusader and Tribute to skill achievements! You can thank your fearless leader for using bubble at the last second after everyone had died and finishing off Anub'arak single handedly :D (Having problems uploading the picture - Ahima fixed)

We ran a 10man, all guildie Sarth+3 just so that we could all have the title - Pamah got the drake. This was back on October 11th despite the late posting. -

Congratulations to the Taco Wagon raid group, who cleared the Mimiron and General Vezax hard modes tonight. Talk about two major accomplishments! Keep up the great work and Yogg + 1 will be down in no time... Proto-Drakes for all!
